About me

Personal Biography

Hi, everyone! I am from Canton, China and have lived in Australia since 2002. Similar to many overseas students, I came to Australia for university study and then decided to stay. After completing my degree of Librarianship and Corporate Information Management, I have been working in the Corporate Information Section at a government department for 5 years. Dring that time I married and had my first baby. I am still working in the same place and same role but part-time. Due to the nature of my work, I am aware of environmental protection and associated issues, such as Climate Change. I have created this blog to help readers to understand the effect of climate change and to encourage them to take action to protect our environment.

The topic of my blog is about Climate Change and our everyday lives. This image represents my topic well with its visualized features. That the Earth is to be placed in fire by human hands indicates human activities play an important role on Climate Change, especially Global Warming.  While the Earth is held by human hands, it means that people can control the distance between the fire and the Earth. This is well related to my blog because there are some writings regarding how human activities cause Climate Change and what people can do to prevent it. Furthermore, the black colour background makes readers feel that this is a serious issue to pay attention to.
